Who you are actually seeing

Dr Cameron Bagry is a cosmetic and restorative dentist in Telford and a certified Invisalign provider. The dentists and nurses he works alongside are his own patients.

He plans every case himself

Not sent off to a technician and handed back. Cameron plans the movements, tells you what is realistic, and says whether attachments will be needed rather than springing them on you.

Trained past the degree, twice over

A postgraduate diploma in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and a diploma in minimally invasive dentistry, so the plan is built to protect the teeth you already have.

He does the straightening and the finishing

Alignment, whitening and any bonding afterwards by the same person, so nothing falls between two providers and nobody has a reason to sell you the bigger version.

You keep your own dentist

Routine care stays exactly where it is. You come to Cameron for this and go back to your practice for check-ups.

What Invisalign can fix

Crowded or overlapping teeth

Gaps and spacing, including the gap between the two front teeth

Teeth that have rotated or are leaning

Teeth that have shifted back after braces years ago

Some bite concerns, depending on the case

Cameron checks all of this properly at your assessment and tells you exactly what is achievable for your teeth, with the projected result on screen in front of you, before you commit to anything.

From first phone call to straight teeth

There is no online diary here on purpose. Booking an appointment without speaking to anyone first usually means booking the wrong one, so a person rings you instead and you work it out between you.

Request your consultation

You send the form

Three details and how you would rather be contacted. No card details and no medical history.

Treatment coordinator Ellie gets in touch

A short, friendly conversation about what you want to change and which appointment actually fits. If you already know you want to get going, she can book you straight in with Cameron.

Scan and preview

A two-minute iTero scan instead of putty impressions, then an AI preview of where your teeth could end up. You look at the projection before committing to anything.

Your plan, movement by movement

Cameron plans it himself and gives you a realistic timescale, the wear time and the retainer commitment, in writing, before you agree to anything.

Wear your aligners

Twenty to twenty-two hours a day, out for meals, swapping to the next set as you go. You see Cameron through treatment rather than being handed off to someone else.

Free whitening, once your teeth are straight

Whitening is included with your treatment and it is timed for the end of your alignment rather than the start, because that is the order that actually works. Composite and porcelain do not lighten once they are made, so the shade gets settled last. Straight, then shade, then shape.

Retainers, and any finishing touches

Retainers hold the result for the long term. If any small bonding is worth doing, it happens now, once the teeth are exactly where they should be.

Ellie, treatment coordinator

Meet Ellie, your treatment coordinator

Ellie is a qualified dental nurse and Cameron’s dedicated treatment coordinator, and she is the person who will call you back. She has had treatment with him herself, so if you want to ask what it is actually like from the chair rather than from a website, ask her.

She will not diagnose anything or push you towards a treatment. That is not her job and it is not how this works. Clinical questions go straight to Cameron.

What Invisalign costs in Telford, honestly

Invisalign starts from £3,699, and whitening is included. The final figure depends on how far your teeth have to move, so you get a fixed price in writing after your assessment rather than a guess over the phone. Treatment plans may be subject to change.

Two ways to start, and both come off your treatment

Cosmetic consultation

£20

Most people begin with a £20 cosmetic consultation with treatment coordinator Ellie. Fifteen minutes to talk through your options, your timescales and anything that is not clinical.

Clinical assessment

£150

If you already know you want to get going, you can skip that and book straight in with Cameron for the £150 clinical assessment. That covers:

A full photographic series

X-rays

An OPG scan

A full clinical examination

An iTero scan

Your treatment plan

Either fee is credited against your treatment if you go ahead.

Spreading the cost

Finance is available through Chrysalis, subject to status and approval. Interest-free options run over twelve months or less, and longer terms are available with interest. The deposit varies depending on the term you choose, and Ellie can talk you through the options when she rings so you can see the monthly figure next to the total before deciding anything.

The questions patients actually ask about Invisalign

If yours is not here, ask treatment coordinator Ellie when she rings. Nobody minds.

Not in the way people brace themselves for. Most patients describe pressure or tightness rather than pain, usually for the first day or two after changing to a new aligner, and it settles as the teeth respond. Changing to a new set before bed means you sleep through the most noticeable part. Invisalign is generally more comfortable than fixed braces, because there are no brackets or wires to rub against your lips and cheeks.

Usually not unless you tell them, which is why a lot of patients get through Invisalign treatment without anyone at work asking. The aligners themselves are clear and thin. Being straight with you, attachments can be visible close up, because they are small tooth-coloured shapes bonded to some of the teeth, but they are matched to your shade and most people have to be looking for them.

Some people do for the first few days. Your tongue is adjusting to something new and speech almost always returns to normal within a few days to a couple of weeks. Talking more, rather than less, speeds it up, so reading aloud or getting on the phone helps. For most patients an Invisalign lisp is a short adjustment rather than something anyone else notices.

It depends on how far your teeth have to move and how consistently you wear the aligners. Invisalign treatment typically runs from around six months for minor movements to eighteen months for more involved cases. Cameron gives you a realistic range at your assessment, alongside the projected result, rather than a headline number designed to get you to say yes.

Invisalign attachments are small tooth-coloured shapes bonded to selected teeth to give the aligners something to grip, which is what makes certain movements possible at all. Most patients need some. They are removed at the end of treatment, and Cameron will tell you at the planning stage whether yours will need them and where, rather than producing them as a surprise on the day.

No, and that is actually one of the advantages. The aligners come out for meals, coffee, a night out or a photograph, so nothing dictates what you eat the way fixed braces do. Everything except plain water comes out, and you brush before they go back in. The target is twenty to twenty-two hours a day, which sounds like a lot until you realise it is three meals and a clean.

They will try to, which is why retainers are not optional. Teeth move throughout your life whether or not you have had treatment, and retainers are what holds the result. You will need to wear them long term, usually at night, and that commitment is explained before you start rather than mentioned at the end. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something.

It depends on whether the thing bothering you is where your teeth are sitting or what shape they are. If it is position, Invisalign is almost always the better answer, because it moves teeth rather than covering them and nothing is removed from your enamel to do it. Straightening first also means that if you do want any bonding or veneers at the end, there is far less of it to do, because nothing has to be added to disguise where a tooth was sitting. Cameron provides both the alignment and the restorative work, so he has no commercial reason to steer you either way, and he will tell you honestly which one your teeth actually need.
